| Why do you want to get married? | The first thing that comes to the mind of anyone who is somewhat religiously inclined is "Marriage will complete half of my deen". which is true. I want to get married so I can serve the deen by raising offspring that will strive in the path of Allah and will eventually bring me closer to Allah. Marriage should not be a relationship that takes us away from Allah in the trail of getting to know our spouse instead, it should bring us closer to Allah. In terms of a Conjugal relationship, there are zillions of couples who are bound in this manner, but in my opinion, I would not appreciate it much because what is a marriage when there is little to no dealings with the spouse? There are going to be a lot of misunderstandings created, unresolved fights, and endless issues. |
