I work in the Canadian government and have been out of country for more than two decades. I have a PhD from a top Canadian university. I love children, read, cook, garden and camping. I am well-travelled and well-read and always enjoy a good conversation. I am a good listener and tend to over analyze things often. I am playful, enjoy a good laugh. My ideal partner takes interest in the world but is a home-body. Someone who has some interesting hobby or passion but not necessarily a careerist. Someone who appreciates small things in life as gracefully as she wears the scars of life. If she prefers to work she should know how to keep a work-life balance. She should not bring the past into our lives and know how to keep a healthy boundary with friends or relatives of the opposite gender. Having to deal with distrust, anger or manipulation from past relationship can make marriage hard.
